OW 0Celebrate 4 years of sharing amazing music and talent! Listen to Southern California’s Top Opera Singers! The artists will consist of past and present Metropolitan Opera Competition Winners, active San Diego Opera performers and guest artists who have sung all over the world.

Blues and Rock & Roll Dance Night|
Live Music by the Stoney B Blues Band!
Dance. Learn. Watch. Join us as a spectator, dance what you know, or arrive early to learn a few new moves. Either way, don’t miss the chance blues and rock and rollto envelop yourself in the magic of dancing. From Ella Fitzgerald and Muddy Waters to Elvis Presley, it is time to rediscover those great times. This new monthly event is presented in partnership with world-renowned dancer and Instructor, Alicia Quaini (www.madameblues.com). Alicia recently relocated to San Diego from Europe, and is ready to share her expertise. Alicia specializes in Blues dancing and aerials for swing and rock and roll. Arrive early to take a class before the dance begins!

Theme nights: In April we will celebrate Rock & Roll from the 50s…So dress it up!

Don’t worry! Dottie will guide you through step by step recreating the nights painting.

Wayne Shorter, world renowned saxophonist and composer, was a member of Art Blakey’s Jazz Messengers and the Miles Davis Second Great Quintet. San Diego emerging tenor saxophonist Robert Dove and his trio pay homage to Shorter whose storied career encompasses 50 years of jazz innovation from bebop in the 40s to breaking new ground in the genres of hard bop, post-bop, fusion and orchestral jazz. Dove is a member of the KSDS Jazz Orchestra led by Gilbert Castellanos, as well as a co-founder of the Thursday’s at The Ken jazz jam. Accompanying him to present an energized night of music are Tyler Kreutel on drums, and Dean Hulett on bass.
Tickets include show admission, hors d’oeuvres, and free valet parking.
