Italian for Travelers
This two hour workshop will equip students with a basic set of handy communicative tools for comfortable interaction with the Italian people. In a lively, relaxed environment, participants learn key expressions, vocabulary words, and idioms necessary for the traveler. Travel tips, cultural aspects, regional characteristics, and social protocol and customs will also be presented. All materials included. Course taught by Paola Baracco. Note: No previous knowledge of Italian is required.

About Your Instructor:
Paola Baracco, M.A.
Born and raised in the city of Turin, in northern Italy, Paola earned a Master’s Degree in Italian Literary, Philosophy and Arts from the University of Study of Turin. She also earned a Master’s in Communications Technique at the University of Leeds (UK). She has extensive experience teaching Italian in the San Diego area including all levels, grammar and conversation, workshops and special classes. Paola is currently teaching at UCSD, La Jolla Community Center and for private organizations.
